Some of us are old enough to remember when the only dinosaur toys available were ugly blue lumps of plastic vaguely shaped like dinosaurs – here we thought we were lucky in 2005 when we reviewed a museum quality, 1/20 scale Tyrannosaurus Rex! Ah, progress. Fast-forward in time to 2011 and for a measly $350k you can own your very own 20 foot long, animatronic & motion sensing Triceratops. Motion-activated cameras in each eye work with interactive software allowing this prehistoric beast to recognize facial features and emotions. The hidden, 1000 watt speaker almost guarantees the soiling of underpants for both children and adults alike. we do solemnly swear that if we ever have thirty five million dollars just lying around we will purchase 100 of these saurian robots and create our very own, real-life Jurassic Park.
